Traditional synthetics have come a long way in the past 20 years, and they look so natural now you can’t tell them apart from human hair! Here’s some of the great features of traditional synthetics, found on our Belle Madame and Estetica Designs ranges.

Minimal Maintenance

No time for fussing with your hair maintenance regime? Then these synthetics are for you! They are low maintenance, and require little to keep them in tip top shape. They’ll keep looking good for up to 6 months with regular wear – longer if you wear it less frequently and alternate styles (Kat from Wig Warrior is still wearing one she bought at the end of 2017!). Just make sure you take care of them and treat them with respect!

Permanent Colour

LILACHAZE

Like Heat Friendly fibres, traditional synthetics never lose their colour, no matter how many times you wash them. The colour you chose will still be the same colour of that wig or hairpiece.

The downside is that you can’t dye synthetics, but considering the vast array of available synthetic colours, you don’t need to – there’s bound to be another colour out there to tickle your fancy!

Style Memory

The idea of ‘shake and go’ comes to mind for these beauties, especially in shorter styles, allowing you to throw on the style and be out the door looking gorgeous in a jiffy! No matter how many times you wash them, they will never lose that fresh ‘just out of the salon’ look, so work it!

Having said that, it doesn’t mean they are static and unstylable! You can create a new look with some product and/or a bit of imagination – don’t be afraid to experiment!

Affordability

True_M5

If you’ve looked at human hair wigs, you’d know you’re looking in the thousands for something good. Synthetics, on the other hand, give you high quality styles, just as good as the real thing, for much less outlay. While traditional synthetics don’t last as long as human hair options, for those of us without a bottomless pit of cash to call on, the idea of a stunning style for a fraction of the price of it’s human hair cousin can be hard to beat, and because we have spent less, we can afford to buy another one later without outlaying too much more.

Because they are less pricy, we can sometimes also afford more than one, opening up a range of style options and choice that you may never have had before (and sometimes starting a bit of a wig addiction…!!!)
